Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 June 2026

ModoStack ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

1. Who we are

ModoStack is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@modostack.co.uk.

2. What data we collect

  • Contact details you submit through our consultation form (name, email, phone, business name and message).
  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through standard web server logs.
  • Information you send us by email or phone.

3. How we use your data

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange your free consultation.
  • To provide the services you request from us.
  • To keep records required for tax, accounting and legal compliance.
  • To improve our website and services.

4. Lawful basis

We rely on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR: (a) your consent when you submit an enquiry form, (b) the performance of a contract when you become a client, and (c) our legitimate interests in running and improving our business, balanced against your rights.

5. Sharing your data

We use trusted third-party processors to deliver our service, including our form and CRM provider HighLevel (LeadConnector) and our website hosting provider. These processors handle data on our instructions and under contractual safeguards. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

6. International transfers

Some of our processors are based outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months from your last contact. Client records are kept for at least 6 years after the end of our relationship to meet UK tax and accounting requirements.

  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Ask us to erase your data, where applicable.
  • Restrict or object to our processing.

  • Withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@modostack.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls and trusted processors.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page.
